Does High Tide have a freezer?
There is a small ice compartment at the top of the fridge which is big enough for a few small items. High Tide does not have a separate freezer.

Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend that all guests at High Tide take out a suitable travel insurance policy that covers cancellations, injury and loss or damage to personal property. Click here for more information regarding cancellations.
Does High Tide have a wood burning stove?
High Tide does not have a wood burning stove.
Is there room for the cot in the twin bedroom?
Unfortunately the cot will not fit in the twin bedroom. The only place suitable for the cot upstairs is at the foot of the bed in the master bedroom.
Does High Tide have private parking?

How do I gain access to the High Tide?

The John Paul Jones Pub and Lorenzos Pizzeria are both situated at the bottom of The Parade. The Royal Oak can be found by turning right out of The Parade and is approximately 1 mile on the left as you head towards Filey. The Honeypot Inn can be found by turning left out of The Parade, then left at the second roundabout as you head away from Filey (signposted Flamborough).

How do I cancel a booking?
If you need to cancel a booking please contact us as soon as you know you are unable to visit. In some circumstances we may be able to offer partial refunds. Click here for more information. If we cannot offer a refund then you should be able to claim under any travel insurance policy that covers cancellations and we are happy to coordinate with insurance companies in that respect.
Does High Tide have disabled access?
High Tide is a 2 storey house with stepped access so is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Also the shower is above the bath so may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Who am I booking with?
When you make a booking (either on this website or via Sykes Cottages) you are booking directly with Andrew and Claire Kilburn, the owners of High Tide Cottage itself. We are a family business which is run independently from The Bay.
Are the prices per person?
The prices shown on our prices page are to rent High Tide cottage for the duration of your stay. It makes no difference how many people are in your party although the maximum number of people it can sleep is 4 (not including infants in the cot).
How do I book?
If you’d like to book a stay at High Tide, please complete our online form on our Contact page. We will then be in touch to confirm the price & deposit details and send you a booking form. Once the payment and booking form are received back the booking is confirmed. Our preferred payment method is bank transfer but you can also pay by cheque or credit/debit card by phone. Please note all bookings are subject to terms and conditions.
Are pets allowed in High Tide?
Pets are not allowed anywhere in High Tide.
